Pembine High School to hold commencement ceremony

PEMBINE, Wis. — A commencement ceremony for the Class of 2020 will take place at noon Saturday in the Pembine High School gymnasium.
The Beecher-Dunbar-Pembine School District plans a traditional ceremony with some adaptations to limit contact and maintain physical distance. There will be reserved seating for the families of graduates.
If an emergency requires a limited audience, the change will be announced on the school’s Facebook page.
The ceremony had first been scheduled for May 22.
The keynote speaker will be Geana Papp, an English teacher at the high school since 1995. Papp has held many extracurricular positions and is currently a class advisor, drama cub advisor and forensics coach.
Other speakers at the ceremony will be Hannah Griffin, class president; Cloey Schiefelbein, valedictorian; Molly Wisniewski, salutatorian; and Kassandra Mazur, junior class president.
High honors will be awarded to Hannah Griffin, Mason McLain, Hannah Niven, Cloey Schiefelbein and Molly Wisniewski and honors will go to Micah Heath, Alexis Molus and Joshua Wallschlaeger.
The district plans to livestream the ceremony on its Facebook page.
