Back in school at North Dickinson

North Dickinson County School students — from left, Lucas Steinbrecher, Porter Inglese, Tyler Fleming and Spencer Kramer, all in seventh grade — wear masks and practice social distancing as they leave the music area at the school in Felch Township. Monday was the first day of in-person classes for North Dickinson County after being out since March due to COVID-19 restrictions in Michigan. Though the district offered an option for online learning at home, almost all of the students opted to return. The first day went about as smoothly as could be expected, said Angel Inglese, superintendent/principal. “The kids are adjusting so well,” Inglese said, adding, “and our staff is very happy to get the kids back.” The students will have this Friday off.

Starting at $3.50/week.
