Library hopes to reopen

IRON MOUNTAIN – The Main and Solomonson branches of the Dickinson County Library are preparing to move to Phase 5 of their reopening plan later this month, provided Dickinson County sees a downward trend in new and active COVID-19 cases.

Phase 5 allows patrons to come into the building without an appointment. However, face coverings will be required, social distancing guidelines will be enforced, and services and hours will continue to be limited, Library Director Megan Buck said.

The North Dickinson Branch, located inside the North Dickinson County School, will comply with additional location restrictions and remain in Phase 4 at this time.
