Dickinson sets camping fees for Antoine’s lake view sites
IRON MOUNTAIN — Lake Antoine campers will be asked to pay slightly more for lake view sites that will debut in 2021.
The Dickinson County park is adding five to eight new sites that will have nightly camping fees of $30 for residents, which compares to $20 for other sites.
Campers will be prohibited from staying on the same lake view site for more than two consecutive weeks.
“This will add a really nice nibbit to camping at Lake Antoine,” Commissioner Joe Stevens said as the county board approved the new fee structure.
Meeting via Zoom on Monday, the board set the non-resident fee for lake view sites at $36 per night, which compares to $24 for other sites.
There is a $5 reservation fee for all sites.
Apart from the campground addition, bandshell rentals will rise in 2021 to $125, up from $75.
Long-term camping rates for county residents will remain at $510 for one month, $900 for two months, or $1,260 for three months. Non-resident rates are $570 for one month, $1,020 for two months, and $1,440 for three months.
Two- and three-month leases have to be for consecutive months.
Pavilion rentals remain $75 with no refunds and a damage clause of $150.
The dump station will remain free for campers, with a $10 fee for non-campers.
