Providing warmth

Warmth for Winter is a project dear to the heart of the Iron Mountain/Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Clubs. The program provides hats, mittens, scarves, even socks to be donated to students at Woodland Elementary School in Kingsford, North Elementary School in Iron Mountain and North Dickinson County School in Felch Township. These items often are lost or misplaced by young children. Children need to play outside, even in the winter months, but it is essential they stay warm. Sue Ellen Hosking and Kayanne Timbrook chaired this project. Shown is the delivery to North Dickinson County School.
