Learning about owls

Florence Elementary School third graders took a virtual field trip and dissected owl pellets. Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary’s Program Director Sage Dunham led the dissection through a live virtual meeting and taught students about what owls eat and their role in the food chain, which is one of the topics covered in the third grade science unit. Students dissecting their owl pellets are Alise Crotty and Brendan Graham.
