New logging, lumber exhibit in IM
The Cornish Pumping Engine and Mining Museum at 300 Kent St. in Iron Mountain recently completed its Logging and Lumbering on the Eastern Menominee Range exhibit. The new addition features artifacts and tells the history of area logging and lumbering, including the Von Platen-Fox Lumber Co.
