Thanks to a donation from their corporate sponsor, Lake Shore Systems, and the proceeds from a fundraising golf tournament, U.P. Veterans War Memorial and Park Committee was able to present a check for $7,856.11 to the U.P. Honor Flight. The group expressed appreciation to the hole sponsors and the people who donated gifts, volunteers, and the golfers who played in the tournament. Next year the tournament is scheduled for June 19.
