The Dickinson Area Community Foundation, along with affiliates Norway Area Community Foundation and the Crystal Falls Area Community Foundation, recently awarded a $250 mini-grant to the Almost Home Animal Shelter in Quinnesec. The funds will be used to add rain gutters along the lower-level entrance of this building. This will prevent ice build-up on the sidewalk and assist in erosion control.
