SAULT STE MARIE — Michigan Farmers Union is hosting two listening sessions in the Upper Peninsula on Thursday to gather member and public input regarding the federal farm bill and other rural issues.

The first will be at 10:30 a.m. Eastern time Thursday at the USDA Service Center in Sault Ste. Marie, 2847 Ashmun St. Lunch will follow at 11:30 a.m.

The second will be at 7 p.m. Eastern time at Bay College in Escanaba, 2001 N. Lincoln Road. Supper will be at 6 p.m.
