The dancing glow of the aurora borealis was visible Thursday night and early Friday across much of the northern U.S., including Michigan and Wisconsin. However, the solar storm that enhanced the Northern Lights show has weakened, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Space Weather Prediction Center.
