LANSING — First Property Holdings LLC, doing business as Rize, will pay a fine of $11,000 under a consent order issued through Michigan’s Cannabis Regulatory Agency.
Rize has been licensed as an adult use marijuana retail establishment since 2020 and has no prior discipline against its license, CRA said. Rize, which began in Iron Mountain in 2020, has also expanded to Marquette, Ironwood and Gaylord.
The complaint involved seven sales between May 22, 2021, and May 23, 2021, of a product that had been placed on administrative hold, pending an investigation by state regulators. A similar violation involving a single sale was reported July 23, 2021.
In resolving the allegations, Rize has implemented improved inventory and compliance management, according to an order signed March 14 by Brian Hanna, CRA executive director.
