KINGSFORD — A meeting scheduled for Thursday to allow members of the public to discuss an improvement plan for the U.S. Postal Service’s processing and distribution facility in Kingsford has been postponed, the Postal Service said in a news release today.

The public input meeting at the Kingsford armory, which was postponed due to unforeseen scheduling circumstances, will be rescheduled at a new venue within the next several weeks, officials said. Once the meeting has been rescheduled, an announcement will be made.

As part of a $40 billion investment strategy to upgrade and improve processing, transportation, and delivery networks, the Postal Service is conducting a review of current operations and potential future uses of the Kingsford facility.
