GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Michigan Soo Line Steam Engine No. 730 Authority will have its regular monthly meeting at 4:30 p.m. Eastern time Monday at Solid Rock Church, 819 Delta Ave. in Gladstone.

They will discuss the successful golf fundraiser this past May and plan for the 2026 event scheduled for May 28.

An update will be given on the current status of work done at the locomotive site. Ideas for long-term future objectives will be sought for the historical museum and welcome center.

Planning will be underway for a Railroad Day at the Steam and Gas engine village this fall.

They continue to seek donations for perpetual care of the train into the future. New donations can be made for the future Gladstone/Soo Line Historical Museum as land is being sought and building plans are being formalized All donations are being accepted by the Community Foundation for Delta County, 2420 First Ave. S., Escanaba, MI 49829.
