Lt. Cmdr. Michael Wojdyla graduated in June from the Naval War College, earning his second master’s degree. In July, he reported to the USS George Washington CVNT3, an aircraft carrier home posted in Japan. He has been in the Navy for 13 years. His wife, Gia, works as an event coordinator for St. Jude Children’s Cancer Research Hospital. He is the son of Dave and Rose Wojdyla of Fence, Wis., and a graduate of Florence County High School.
