Governor Thompson State Park sets 25th-anniversary celebration
CRIVITZ, Wis. — A 25th-anniversary celebration will take place Saturday at Governor Thompson State Park near Crivitz.
The park will have free admission all day with an open house layout. There will be access to all the buildings, along with a short speaking event at 1 p.m. at the Woods Lake Shelter. They will serve cake and attendees can enjoy all of the old and new photos of the park.
Some small events will take place for kids, along with nature programs for all ages and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources staff will be present to answer questions.
This event is being hosted by the Friends of Governor Thompson State Park.
