ALPHA — The Alpha Michigan Brewing Company made a donation to the Iron Area Health Foundation CoVantage Cares Matching Funds Campaign following a Brats, Baskets and Brews fundraising event on Saturday, Dec. 13 at the Alpha Michigan Brewing Company.
The fundraising event, hosted by the brewery, where they brew with a purpose, included brats provided by the Crystal Falls Volunteer Fire Department, 24 basket raffle prizes, music by Jonny Waara and Alpha Michigan brews.
The event was very successful with over $3,600 raised through the activities and individual donations that were received during the day. IAHF expressed appreciation to them for their fundraising efforts.
“You certainly ‘brew with a purpose.’ Your support of our foundation and our area as a whole is both noticed and appreciated,” they said on the IAHF Facebook site.
