DCD to have highway cleanup on Saturday

KINGSFORD — Dickinson Conservation District will conduct its first Adopt-a-Highway cleanup at 9 a.m. Saturday. They will meet at the M-95-M-69 carpool parking lot, the one heading toward Felch. This is the first Adopt-a-Highway clean-up event DCD has done since submitting for the permit this spring. The section starts from the intersection of M-95/M-69, down 2 miles east on M-69. These grants are awarded in the first quarter of 2027, with a total of $90,062 available for the cycle. The deadline to apply is Oct. 30.
