Beverly Fronsee

BEVERLY FRONSEE

KINGSFORD — Beverly Ann Fronsee, 88, of Kingsford, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, at the home of her niece, Beverly Sharp, after a brief illness.

She was born June 6, 1929, in Gladstone, daughter of the late Earl and Emma (Krouth) LaBumbard.

Bev graduated from Gladstone High School in 1948 and from cosmetology school in 1950. She married Elmer Fronsee Jan. 16, 1971, in Iron Mountain. He preceded her in death Nov. 27, 1997.

Bev owned and operated Betty’s Beauty Shop on Stockbridge Avenue in Iron Mountain for 25 years before retiring. She later was the hairstylist at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home for many years.

Bev was a very devout Catholic and was very faithful with her attendance. She was a kind and loving person and will be missed by those she loved.

She is survived by one niece, Carol Woodcock and one nephew, Robert Cripe, both of Oregon, along with several other nieces and nephews on Elmer’s side of the family; cousins, Dick and Mary Crouth, Elizabeth Bailey and Al (Ruth) Crouth

Bev was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Cripe.

Friends may call from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21 at the Kingsford Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Church. Msgr. James Kaczmarek will offer the Mass of Christian Burial.

Burial will be in the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be established in her memory.
