Beth Ann Peterson

NORWAY — Beth Ann Peterson, 70, of Norway, passed away on March 29, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Beth was born on April 5, 1950, to Jeanne and the late Claude Corrigan in Daggett. She was the fifth of 10 children. She graduated from Powers High School Class of 1968.

Beth married Dennis Peterson on June 14, 1969, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Spalding.

She worked for K-Mart for over 30 years until her retirement. She loved spending time with children, and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, and taking a ride to the casino.

Beth is survived by her mother, Jeanne Corrigan; loving husband of 51 years, Dennis; son, Dennis (Mary) Peterson; daughter, Sarah (Mark) Thaler;, granddaughters, Kassandra (Andrew) Rajala, Patricia (David Woller) Thaler;, grandsons, Michael Peterson and Matthew Peterson; great-granddaughter, Aubree Peterson. She is also survived by siblings, Dick (Linda) Corrigan, Joyce (Leo) Labre, Ruth Blahnik, Boyd (Sue) Corrigan, Bill (Shar) Corrigan, Don (Janet) Corrigan and Tom (Geri) Corrigan; brothers-in-law, Ivan Hammerberg and Jack Peterson; sister-in-law, LuAnne Peterson (Gary Ebrecht); close family members, Michael and Judy Dapoz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Beth was proceeded in death by her father, Claude Corrigan; sisters, Patricia Lemerand and Barbara Hammerberg; brother-in-law, Gordon Lemerand; sister-in-law, Yvonne Peterson; nephews, Travis Corrigan and Thomas Corrigan Jr. She was also proceeded in death by her mother-in-law, Eleanore Peterson and father-in-law, Omer Peterson.

Family will greet friends on Tuesday, April 6, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Norway.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the church with Fr. Michael Kowalewski officiating.

The family requests that flowers are omitted at this time.
