RANDY J. GRAILER SR.

IRON MOUNTAIN — Randy J. Grailer Sr., 62, of Iron Mountain, passed away Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain.

He was born April 18, 1961, in Iron Mountain, son of the late Jerry “Dimps” and Susan (Johnson) Grailer.

Randy grew up in Kingsford and was a graduate of Kingsford High School, class of 1979. Following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Air Force. Randy served from 1979 until 1984 and was stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.

Randy worked mainly as a truck driver and as a chef at the Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to camp with family and friends. Randy also enjoyed having kids and harassing Packer fans. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings supporter and fan. Randy cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Jason Grailer, Alicia (Tony) Guiliani, Randy Grailer Jr., Nickolis Grailer, Joseph (Amanda) Grailer, Felicia Michaud, Brittany Michaud and Ryan (Kaci) Grailer; grandchildren, Harmony, Austin, A.J., Kelly, Justin, Ayla, Collin, Jonah, Somaya, Micah, Annaleigh, Nolan, Guilietta, Bella, Jenna, Lucas, Grayson and Reece; two brothers, Jerry Grailer and Robert (Bobby) Grailer; one aunt, Teresa (Pete) Rossato; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and by his three ex-wives, Corin, Jill and Gidget.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by one grandson, Dillon Grailer, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Breitung Township Cemetery in Quinnesec. Rev. James Danielson will officiate.

A celebration of life will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion Uren-Copper Johnson Post 50 in Iron Mountain,
