Robert A. Benson

Bob was from Ironwood and was born Jan 26, 1954, to Mr. and Mrs. Hubert and Martha (Edwards) Benson.

He graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1972. Bob enlisted in the National Guard and was honorably discharged.

He worked for many years at American Can in the Washington Street plant.

Bob is survived by a daughter, Sunshine Benson; his sisters; Judy (Peter) Kaul, Bonnie Muhonen and Mary Younger; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sharon Delanty; and two brothers-in-law, Brian Younger and Jerry Muhonen.

Funeral services were held on Thursday Oct. 5, 2023 at the Kessler-Fahrenkrug Funeral Home in Neenah.

Visitation was held from 3 p.m. until the time of services.

Burial in St. Margaret Cemetery in Neenah.
