IRON MOUNTAIN — Robert Stanley Knoke, known to family and friends as Bob, passed away peacefully at his home in Petoskey, Mich., on Nov. 5, 2025, surrounded by his beloved wife and children. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. QUINNESEC — Janis Jean Akers, 70, of Quinnesec, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at the Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson in Iron Mountain. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, at Maranatha Assembly of God church, with Pastor Dave Wilton officiating the memorial service at 11 a.m. A small luncheon will be provided at the church after the service. IRON RIVER — Alan J. Kinner, 78, of Iron River, passed away on Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at his home on Silk Lake with his family by his side.
