IRON MOUNTAIN — Richard Raymond Pelot, 81, of Iron Mountain passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay, Wis., due to a heart condition. Richard was born on Feb. 16, 1943, in Chicago, son of the late Raymond and Elsa Pelot. He was a graduate of Iron Mountain High School and later received his master’s degree from Northern Michigan University in business administration and education. IRON RIVER — Carol A. Stanchina, 91, of Iron River, passed away on Monday, Aug. 5, 2024, at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, Wis. A visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River with Rev. Daniel Fosu to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
