IRON MOUNTAIN — Karen Powell Rosenburg, 75, of Iron Mountain, passed away Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023 at home, with friends and family by her side. There will be a Celebration of Life from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at the Ever After Event Center in Kingsford. In lieu of flowers, Karen requested people bring a centerpiece for a table at the celebration. The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home for cremation arrangements.

MENOMINEE — Waneta Kay Miron, 65, of Menominee, passed away Nov. 6, 2023, following a short illness. She was born in Iron Mountain. Waneta enjoyed going to the casino and collecting angels. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Verna Miron; a sister, Dawn Miron; and two nephews, Collin Miron and Jason Brazeau. Waneta is survived by her siblings, Cindy (Jeff) McCall, Jill (Bob) Maki and Carl and Julie Miron; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A private graveside service is scheduled for the spring.
