Embrace your crazy side

Recently, a woman I know told me that she considers herself weird. My sincere advice to her was to embrace it and love the weirdness. I told her when people tell me I am crazy, I humbly smile but inside I am glowing.

The reason being is one of my motto’s in life is: “In a positive way, show them what crazy can do.” (So there is no plagiarism, I did get the idea from a sports ad.)

When Thomas Edison was young, people said he was crazy and laughed at his ideas. He became one of the greatest inventors of all time.

When Einstein was young, he was told he was stupid. He became a world-recognized genius.

And when Michael Phelps was young, he was told he was crazy for the way he over-trained and that he would flame out. He became the greatest swimmer and Olympian of all time.

So, the next time someone tells you that you are weird, crazy, etc. . .In a positive way, show them what that distinction can do.
