Bergman took a stand — for Texas

EDITOR:

I think I speak for the majority of Michigan voters when I express gratitude to U.S. Rep. Jack Bergman, for courageously taking a stand and supporting the lawsuit taken to the Supreme Court by the Texas Attorney General aimed at canceling out Michigan votes.

Many agree: Elections are a waste of time and money. If Walmart, Amazon, Facebook and the drug and insurance companies could directly choose the president, they could save money on campaign contributions and workers would not create inefficiencies by taking time off to vote. As we know, this would increase profits and therefore increase the stock market and economy.

I think I speak for a lot of Michigan voters when I say that voting is pointless and tedious. Who was not annoyed by the endless commercials telling us to vote? I am sure that many would agree that the large corporations and the military would do a much better job of choosing our leaders and running the country. I have heard that there are a lot of examples out there.

Now that the deep state Supreme Court has refused to hear this case and shown itself to be disloyal, Rep. Bergman should lead an effort to replace all court members, or better yet eliminate the court altogether.

Thanks again, Rep. Bergman, for standing up for Texas’s rights!
