Now that we have some snow and ice on the ground, I would like to thank all of our Daily News customers for keeping a path clear of snow and ice for the paper carriers and drivers to deliver the paper. For customers in our rural areas, thank you for cleaning out the area around your tube so the driver can drive up and put your paper inside it.
Winter is probably the most challenging time of the year, with the days being shorter and the cold weather bringing snow and ice. On behalf of myself, our carriers and our drivers, we appreciate your help in keeping them safe.
