Bouquet: On behalf of the Crystal Theatre board of directors, I would like to thank the CoVantage Credit Union of Crystal Falls for choosing the theatre as the 2018 recipient of the CoVantage Cares Foundation’s 2018 Giving 2sday campaign.

The theatre was given the opportunity to raise funds during a two-week period in which the credit union would match the final amount. Donations were raised by mailings, theatre seats honoring or in memory of loved ones, basket raffle, free Christmas movies, the Second Sunday folk concert, Christmas concert and Crystal Market “round-up.”

We were hopeful we would reach our goal or at least come close. Never did we expect the resounding success of the two-week event. We not only met our goal but exceeded it. The generosity of our community and donors was certainly evident. It was affirmation that the community is supportive of our management of the theatre.

The CoVantage Cares Foundation’s Giving 2sday campaign is a wonderful way of reaching out to the community and we were so grateful to participate.
