Saddle club says thanks for support on project raffle

Bouquets and Barbs

Bouquet: The Northern Saddle Club would like to thank the community for its support in making our raffle a huge success. The raffle raised funds for the Fresh Water Project and other goals for improving the Halls Creek equestrian-friendly campground, trailhead and boat landing in Homestead on Florence County land. The Halls Creek trails also are open to hunters, hikers and other silent sport enthusiasts.

The NSC would like to thank the following businesses for selling tickets: Whisler Outdoors, Florence, Wis.; Dina Mia, Florence; Chuck Wagon, Spread Eagle, Wis.; The Mine Shaft Bar & Grill, Florence; and Roadhouse 139, Long Lake, Wis. Tickets were also sold by club members — thank you. Prizes were locally bought at Whisler Outdoors and Ray’s Feed Mill and donated.

The Florence County Someplace Special package was a Coleman cooler filled with gift certificates for local businesses, local artisans’ gifts and donated goods.
