Bouquets and Barbs

Bouquet

From Kat Kerley, director of social services, Freeman Nursing and Rehabilitation, Kingsford:

A big thank you to Bijou Lovely for donating masks to us as part of their 1 Million Masks Project. They are very much appreciated.

We would also like to thank Emily Fairchild for nominating Freeman, and Joyce Nault for making the majority of the masks we received.

Thank you to Girl Scout Troop 5143 for the beautiful sign. It has helped brighten our days.

A big thank you to Christine Olson for donating art supplies to Freeman Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. It is greatly appreciated.

Saying thanks to whoever returned her purse

Bouquet

From Paula Cambray, Pulaski, Wis.:

A couple of weeks ago my mother, Carol Fontana, was shopping at Walmart. When she got home, she realized that she inadvertently had left her purse in the shopping cart. She returned to Walmart to inquire about it and was told a very nice lady found it and brought it to the service desk to be returned to the owner.

They did not know her name, and we would like to say thank you for being a kind and honest person. There is not enough of that in this uncertain world.

Know that we will pay it forward.
