Bouquet and barb: Driving through the Iron Mountain cemetery in the ’93 blue-green Ford Escort to pick up the flowers before the fall clean-up. Some of the roads in the cemetery are still in bad condition. Ideal for car repairs. Walkers and bikers use the roadways and when able for memorial services, too. The cemetery looked great and well cared for in the spring and summer. The roads in the winter are plowed and used by many, too. There must be some money somewhere that could be used for road repair. It would be nice if some work could be done for spring 2021 or any time.

Just another thought with the increase in the pandemic cases in the U.P., hand-washing, wearing masks and social distancing are a must. Don’t forget to vote, either by absentee ballot or at the polls. Take care, stay safe and healthy.
