Bouquet: Roses to Karen Blackhall, who accomplished the goal she set to climb the 500 steps at Pine Mountain and was able to collect and donate a sizable amount of money to the Kiwanis Ski Club fund. She and her husband, Steve, are wonderful examples of the goals that can be reached and the good that can be shared with our community.
Roses are also in order to The Daily News for publishing the story and giving credit where credit is due. It’s encouraging to have positive news on our front page instead of the doom and gloom that seems to dominate so much of our news these days.
