Bouquets and Barbs
Bouquet: Reading Thursday’s Daily News, I was amazed to see how many different issues the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department has handled in the month of February: 102 complaints, 20 accidents, 26 citations, 70 warnings, 12 arrests, and 186 property checks. Besides all of this, the dispatch center handled over 2,000 calls for some type of help! WOW! I am sure the Iron Mountain and the Kingsford Police and Fire Departments are equally busy. I think sometimes we take our wonderfully safe community for granted.
Thank you to our Dickinson County Sheriff Department and all other law enforcement for the great job they do in keeping us safe.
