Mary Lind, my caregiver, currently works for Sunny Days In-Home Care, Great Lakes. She has been a great source of comfort, kindness, strength and love in our family’s life. Now she needs help herself. She has several severe health problems that will require her to travel to the University of Michigan for evaluation. She has acute myeloid leukemia, or AML, and Behcet’s disease. Due to her rare health problems, she can’t be treated here in the area.
