Ted Williams was a man’s man
Recently, I watched a documentary about baseball great Ted Williams. Like any human being, he had his faults. But as a commentator stated, he was a man’s man who would not fit in this day and age. He yelled at you if he had reason and with a man such as him you knew exactly where you stand. A man such as him would not insult me if he raised his voice against me because I know it would be justified. In this wonder of a culture we now call society, raising your voice is considered taboo. No, Ted Williams would not fit in this day and age. The country has changed too much. And that’s a good part of the whole problem.
