The differences between the parties in the US
There are stark differences that exist from political group to political group in our country. One group wants to allow infanticide (letting babies die after they are born) and partial-birth abortion (ending a baby’s life in the third trimester).
The same group advocates for federal taxes at 70 percent or higher to support socialism, which is the government control of most of their lives, even though socialism has failed in every country it has ever been tried, including Sweden (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-06-26/now-even-swedes-are-questioning-the-welfare-state).
This group also is pushing to ban automobiles, ban airplanes and ban 84 percent of our electricity production. The group also wants to open our borders to the whole world. They are OK with ISIS, MS13, al Qaeda and other terrorist groups setting up shop in the United States.
The same group is advocating for “Medicare for all,” which really means they want to steal the health care that our seniors have paid for so they don’t have to work for their own health care.
The other group believes in the sanctity of life and supports the Roman Catholic view against abortion.
This group has implemented lower taxes for all, cutting taxes for some as much as 26 percent. This group advocated for personal responsibility and patriotism. This group advocates for a balanced energy policy along with a sound clean environmental policy.
This group shows strong support for “legal immigration” and understands that “America’s capacity to absorb immigration is limited.”
This group is a big proponent of a strong national defense and increased defense spending in its first two years in office. Finally, the leader of this group said, “We shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.”
If you haven’t figured it out yet let me identify the two groups. The first is today’s Democrat Party and the second is John F. Kennedy’s party that used to call themselves Democrats but now look just like Republicans.
Which group do you more closely align with?
