Iron Mountain’s Brooke Fornetti and the Alma College women’s bowling team finished 26th out of 66 teams in the 49th annual Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis.

Fornetti, a freshman, wound up a solid 71st in a field of 500 bowlers. She totaled an 1121 series, with a 216 in game four.

“It was a great effort by everyone,” said Alma Coach Kyle Woodcock.

The Scots compete Sunday in the American Heartland Championships in Beavercreek, Ohio.
