Florence JVs dump Bluejays

THREE LAKES, Wis. — Freshman Pat Milan rushed for 188 yards and three touchdowns as Florence opened the eight-player junior varsity football season by beating Three Lakes/Phelps 52-24.

Milan ran 55, 53 yards and 37 yards for scores.

Quarterback Braeden Boettcher completed four passes for 59 yards including a 24-yard touchdown to Corbin Behrman. He also threw a two-point conversion pass to Will Liebergen, who had two receptions for 32 yards plus 45 rushing yards.

Cody Reuben had a 12-yard touchdown run and 49 total yards of rushing.

The defense tallied 50 total tackles, with Milan recording a team-high 13 with two interceptions. Andy Hirn had 12 tackles and Cody Reuben added eight.
