Florence JV football slips past Preds
NIAGARA, Wis. – Florence edged the Northern Elite Predators 32-30 in a junior varsity eight-man football contest Monday.
Coach Ryan Lobeck’s Predators notched 300 yards of offense behind Ryan Erickson and Logan Weber. Weber had four catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns. Erickson threw for 159 yards with two touchdowns while also rushing for more than 100 yards with two more scores.
The Predator defense was led by Shelby Lobeck, Sam Niven, Weber and Lee Scheffen. Erik Kalkofen and Erickson each had a fumble recovery on defense.
The Predators next JV game is Monday, Sept. 9, at Crandon.
