NIAGARA, Wis. — Jessica Oratch scored 26 points in a losing effort as Niagara fell to M & O Conference leader Oneida Nation by a score of 59-47 Friday.
The Badgers (5-2, 2-2) trailed by as many as 13 points in the first half before cutting the margin to 29-23 at halftime. Niagara then grabbed a 30-29 lead early in the second half before Oneida Nation went on a 10-0 run to regain momentum and eventually pull away.
Jayden Payette and Alyssa Cretton added six points each for the Badgers. Oratch led the team in rebounds with 12 while Cassandra Gill grabbed nine boards and netted four points.
M’Kenzey Ackley led Oneida Nation (6-0, 5-0) with 23 points.
Niagara will host Three Lakes on Friday, Dec. 27.
