Kingsford’s Diego Przeslakowski advances the ball against Escanaba Bayside on Tuesday at Commemorative Field in Kingsford. The Flivvers opened their season with a 6-0 win. Kobe Gordon, Dennis Neuens and Nathan Arndt scored first-half goals as the Flivvers built a 3-0 lead. Gordon scored two more goals in the second half and Cade Counter added the final tally on a header with 11:44 remaining. Goalie Ethan Gribble recorded the shutout.
