GOODMAN, Wis. — In a Northern Lakes Conference girls volleyball matchup Thursday night, Laona-Wabeno defeated the host Goodman-Pembine Lady Patriots 3-0 (25-11, 25-18, 25-13) at Goodman-Armstrong Creek High School.

“The first part of all three sets were close tonight. Our girls played tough and really hustled,” said G-P coach Nicole Millan. “Despite our back row getting some hard digs, we had some struggles with a couple of their hard servers.”

The Patriots (0-2) return to action tonight, as they travel to Northern Lakes foe Florence for a varsity only match beginning at 6 p.m.
