NIAGARA, Wis. — Niagara High School athletic director Scott Trevillian released a statement on behalf of the school and the Northern Elite Predators football program Monday afternoon.

“Due to the fact of a portion of the Northern Elite Predator co-op going to virtual schooling and closing football through Oct. 23, the following games have been cancelled to ensure the safety of our players and communities,” said Trevillian.

Volleyball and junior high girls basketball will continue as scheduled at Niagara.

Cancelled Football

Varsity:

Oct. 16 vs Northland Pines

Oct. 23 at Norway

JV:

Oct 12 at Northland Pines- previously forfeited by Northland Pines

Oct. 21 vs. Norway

Junior High:

Oct. 20 vs. Coleman

“It is the desire of the co-op to restart playing, starting with our Oct. 26 JV game at Coleman. Thank you for your understanding during these challenging times,” Trevillian said.
