Bobcats rout Lakers, 84-47

Florence posts 5 in double figures

FLORENCE. Wis. — With five players scoring in double figures — and two registering double-doubles — Florence blasted White Lake in Northern Lakes Conference boys basketball here Tuesday night.

Patrick Milan netted 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the 84-47 win. Sophomore Evan Johnson scored 12 points and dished out 10 assists.

Dominic DeMuri drained a game-high 19 points, while freshman William Kelley chipped in 13 points and freshman Logan Schuls added 10 points for the Bobcats.

“It was a good night to get everyone involved,” said Florence head coach Bryan Bomberg. “I was none too pleased with our defensive execution in the first, it wasn’t very tough, but we adjusted and finished strong.”

David Chism led the Lakers with 15 points, while teammate Bradon Frederick contributed 14.

Florence, who improves to 8-3 on the season, remains home to host NLC opponent Crandon on Friday night.
