THREE LAKES, Wis. — The Niagara High School girls basketball team lost to Three Lakes, 68-38,

in the WIAA Division 5 regional final Saturday.

The Badgers end their season at 10-9.

“Three Lakes is a very good team,” said Niagara coach Karl Lamoreaux. “They combine size with shooting and a nice point guard.”

The Badgers played even with the Blue Jays in the second half, but an early deficit was too much to overcome, Lamoreaux said. Niagara sophomore Josie Rock led all scorers with a game high 24 points.

Seniors on the Niagara roster were Alyssa Cretton, Haley Allred and Noelle Champagne.

“I’m going to miss my seniors,” Lamoreaux said. “Overall we had a good year. And we look forward to being back and even better next year.”
