NEGAUNEE – Iron Mountain’s wrestlers improved to 9-2 on the season after sweeping a quad meet here Thursday. The Mountaineers defeated Gwinn (60-12), Menominee (48-18) and Negaunee (45-27).

Tyler Winch (112 pounds), Shawn Mcguire (125), Bradon Walstrom (135), Even Haferkorn (140) and Mason Kivi (160) all went 3-0 in the meet. Alex Wilson (102), Jacob Lewis (119) and Jon Carrion (171) posted two wins apiece. Shyna Hruska (103), Ryan Lapointe (130), Parker Stroud (152), Fulton Stroud (152) and Preston Roberts (152) also added wins for Iron Mountain.

Iron Mountain wrestles again Wednesday at Marquette.
