IRON MOUNTAIN — The undefeated (9-0) Iron Mountain Mountaineers boys basketball team moved up two spots from No. 6 last week, to No. 4 this week, in Division 3 of the Michigan Associated Press high school basketball poll.

Head coach Harvey “Bucky” Johnson and the Mountaineers received one first place vote from the AP voting panel.

Also in Division 3, undefeated (10-0) Bark River-Harris, moved into the Top 10 this week to No. 9.

Iron Mountain and Bark River-Harris are in the same district, once MHSAA tournament play begins for the boys on March 23. They play one another in a non-conference game at Iron Mountain on March 18 to conclude the regular season for both teams.
