WAUSAUKEE, Wis. — Florence plated 10 runs in the fifth inning and defeated Wausaukee 15-1 in non-conference girls softball.

Sidney Tomczak pitched a complete game in Tuesday’s victory, allowing six hits and one walk while striking out three.

“A nice win for us,” said Florence coach Dan Robinson. “Wausaukee has been tough through the years.”

The Bobcats got two singles apiece from Ashelyn White and Tomczak, along with a double by Isabella Millan and singles from Paige Uren and Madison Johnson.

Florence, 11-4 overall, hosts Goodman-Pembine today in a game important to seeding in the WIAA tournament.
