NORWAY — The host Lady Knights hit four home runs, one in each game by junior Averie Popp, as Norway swept a Skyline Central Conference doubleheader from Munising, 15-0 in three innings and 11-4

Norway put up 12 runs in the first inning of game one Thursday at Marion Park, with pitcher Kali Stanchina allowing one hit and fanning four. Popp drove in five runs, while Stanchina and sophomore Donna VanHolla each drove in a pair.

In game two, sophomores Andi Carlson and Hannah Burklund both toed the mound, with Burklund fanning five hitters. The sophomore duo each hit a home run in the game for Norway.

Sophomore Taylor Adams drove in two runs for Norway.

The Knights remain home as they host non-conference rival Iron Mountain on Monday, before traveling to Gladstone on Tuesday.
